Couch Potato Story
Dereaper stands in front of the Stubenhockers door and rings the doorbell. Stubenhocker, still sitting on his couch opens a crack on the door and peeks outside. Dereaper smiles and waves hello. Realizing it is the grim reaper, Stubenhocker slams the door on Dereaper. Dereaper tries knocking on the door this time, but Stubenhocker would not answer the door. Tired of waiting for the door to be open, Dereaper peers through the window and notices Stubenhocker is still sitting on his couch watching television. Dereaper climbs through the window and creeps behind Stubenhocker. She taps Stubenhocker on the shoulders and waves when he looks over his shoulder. Stubenhocker gasps, but returns to watching television. Dereaper was confused by his reaction because her usual clients would have died seeing her. Dereaper then tries to stand in front of the television to catch his attention. Stubenhocker furrows his brows and pulls out an ax from behind his couch. He screams and throws the ax towards Dereaper's head. Dereaper dodges just in time and the ax lodges onto the wall behind the television. Dereaper sighs in relief and starts to think of another plan. She then walks over to Stubenhocker again and decides to poison his drink. Since Stubenhocker is so obsess with television, he does not notice Dereaper pouring poison in his drink. He drinks the poison, but instead of dying, he started to grow poisonous fungus on his head. Dereaper was very confused and furious. She was running out of time, but the couch potato would not die. Dereaper took her scythe and aimed at the potato's head. Unfortunately, Stubenhocker moved right when she thrust down her scythe, causing her to stab the couch instead. Unwilling to give up, Dereaper pulls the television plug. Everything froze at that for a moment. Stubenhocker looked at Dereaper then back at the television and back at her again. He grasps on this chest as though he has a heart attack and collapses on the floor. Dereaper looks down on Stubenhocker's dead body and checks her list. To reward herself, she decides to make fries with what is left of Stubenhocker.

Background:
Dereaper was born in the Underworld. She was an only child, but her mother neglected her as child due to work. Her father was the one who took care of her and raised her like a son. Growing up, her parents were afraid that she would not be able to survive in the future due to her laziness and lack of motivation. Even though she was lazy at home, she had good grades in school. When she was in Funderworld University, she met the love of her life, who later became her wife. Her wife saw potential in Dereaper, and suggested that she should go pursue the grim reaping career. With her wife's motivations, Dereaper took the Grim Reaping Exam and became an official grim reaper. Due to her personality, the Grim Reaping Society decided to make her a couch potato grim reaper. Her task is to go to earth everyday to reap on couch potato's soul. If she is not able to complete her task, she cannot return to the Underworld, unless she writes a report on why she did not kill the couch potato. If a couch potato decides to stop being a couch potato, her job for the day is also complete. Because Dereaper wishes to go home early, she often wants to get her job done as soon as possible. Her victims were relatively easy for her to deal with until she met Stubenhocker.
"Home" Narrative:
It was mid November and Dereaper was finally completed her daily task on earth. Her supervisor was supposed to assign to her a couch potato that was relatively easy to kill, so that Dereaper could go home early to surprise her wife for their anniversary. Unfortunately, her victim today refused to die, which made it hard for her to go home. When Dereaper finally got to the front door of her house, she realized she had lost her keys. Derepear searched everywhere to see if she might have misplaced it. Then she remembered that she had probably dropped it when she was fighting with her victim. Unfortunately, she does not have time to go back to earth for her wife was coming home soon. Dereaper decided to try every window and door that could potentially be unlocked; unfortunately, they were all locked. Time was ticking and she knew her wife was going to come home soon. She was not sure what to do until she looked at the chimney. Desperate to go in to set up the surprise for her wife, she climbed up the roof and looked down the chimney. Realizing how far away from ground she was, she became too afraid to go down the chimney. Instead, Dereaper grabbed onto the chimney for dear life so that she would not fall off the roof. In the end, she waited on the roof for her wife to come home and rescue her off the roof. The wife was not surprised when she saw what happened to Dereaper.

Personality: He is very chill and lazes around the whole day, as long as he is able to watch TV. He becomes crazy and murderous if people get in his way. He does not care about anything as long as he has his television.

Background:
Stubenhocker was part of the russet mash potato family. He was born to take over his family’s place in becoming the next mash potato. At the age of 2, he was married to his lovely wife, who happened to be one of the world’s most beautiful russet potatoes. Stubenhocker and his wife lived in a nice potato farm where they had 10 children. One day, the potato company introduced Stubenhocker to television. He was never the same after that day. He started to drink soda and soon he sold his children to the company to pay the cable and television bills. His wife wanted to leave him, but he got so furious that he sold her to the potato company as well. In exchange, the potato company gave him a lifetime of unlimited television, cable, soda, and potato chips made from his children. Occasionally, he would visit the company to produce more beautiful potato children. Because he no longer took over his family business of becoming mash potato, he kept living for decades. He hardly ever gets out of his couch. He just wants to stay with his television forever.
“Home” Narrative:
Stubenhocker had came home from the potato company after checking up on his wife. Unfortunately, when he arrived at his door, he realized he did not have his keys. He started to panic because he realized that if he could not get inside his house, he would not be able to watch television. He decided to ram the door open, but unfortunately, he was no longer a hard potato. His insides became a mush, but the door did not budge. He tried crashing through the window, but that did not work either. He became really bruised, yet the house was impenetrable. He finally called up the potato company to give him an ax. He butchered the door with the axe as well as parts of his house, as he ran straight for his television. When he finally reached his TV, he slumped on the couch, dropped the axe and calmed down instantly.
